I believe in hard work, determination and honesty at every level. I want to help you reach your goals. Much of what we do to improve and develop is not only repetitive but can be annoyingly boring! But! As someone who spent hours passing a ball against a brick wall! With both feet over and over again until I could control the ball really well, I can tell you it was worth it! Every pass, every angle, every strength of pass? I eventually mastered them all. The tap tap tap on the outside wall drove my mum N dad crazy but I felt I had to do it because if I could control the ball here, I could do it anywhere! At age 13, I signed associate schoolboy contracts for Chelsea FC. Over the next two years I played in the then southern league which actually covered the whole country. We played in the same league as man utd, arsenal, Liverpool and west ham utd to name but a few! They were incredible times but after 2 years of playing both at my own age group 13/15 and being played up into the under 16 and u 17 teams I chose not to sign a pot contract with the clubs that wanted me ! Sadly for me, Chelsea fc was not one of the teams who wanted me to sign a professional contract! They were and still are the only club I have ever supported and was lucky enough to play for, albeit at youth level. But that is all in the past! Since returning to Knoxville in 2022 I have taken all my grassroots course with US Soccer and have also passed the national USSoccer D license. So I guess if you wanted to sum up My approach to playing the game today it is a mixture of modern training and old fashioned grit and determination. I don’t waste my time on players who say they want to learn but then don’t really try! If you are serious about getting as far as you can I can help you achieve that goal? If you just want to be good enough to play for your school, college or local rec team I can help you do that also. All I will ever ask of you is that you try? If you want to learn and get better it has to come from you? I can help you on that journey but it is only you who can push yourself to achieve your goals. Being technically skillful is a great step in the right direction but without the ability to read the field and read the game as well as reading the opposition players? That’s never going to get you very far! You need to be both physically agile and mentally agile as well.
