What you can check on a profile.
Every coach fills in the same fields, so you can compare people on something more than a recommendation and a phone call.
- Identity verification
- Coaches can verify their identity against government-issued ID. The badge confirms they are who they say they are. It is not a DBS check.
- Qualifications
- The badges and certificates a coach holds, who awarded them, and when they were earned.
- Roles and experience
- Where someone has coached, at what level, and in which sports.
- Reviews
- Written by the athletes, parents, and clubs who have already worked with them.
- Published policies
- Providers can publish a safeguarding policy, first aid policy, emergency action plan, and code of conduct.
- Direct messaging
- Ask about availability, rates, and vetting before any money changes hands.
And what we do not check.
We do not verify qualifications and we do not run DBS checks. What sits on a profile is what the coach has told us, and identity verification confirms who somebody is rather than whether they are cleared to work with children.
