My coaching philosophy is centred around developing the player as a whole — helping young footballers improve their technical ability, decision-making, game understanding and confidence, while creating an environment where they are encouraged to think, communicate and take responsibility for their own development.
I currently coach across Richmond Park FC, Surrey Schools and DFOX 121 Coaching, working with players across different ages and abilities. My experience includes grassroots football, girls’ football, team coaching and individual player development.
A particular focus of my coaching is decision-making and game intelligence. I want players to understand not just what to do, but why they are doing it — developing skills such as scanning, receiving under pressure, recognising space, creating passing options and making effective decisions before and after receiving the ball.
I believe good coaching should challenge players while allowing them to make mistakes, learn and develop. Sessions are designed to be purposeful, engaging and closely connected to the demands of matchday.
