Account Registration

Welcome to Pitch Gurus! This guide walks you through creating your coach account from start to finish. The whole process takes just a few minutes, and once complete you can start building your profile and connecting with athletes.

Creating Your Account

Visit the Pitch Gurus homepage and click Sign Up in the top navigation
Select Coach as your account type
Fill out your personal details including your name, profile picture, and location
Complete the payment step with our secure payment provider to activate your subscription
Set a password for your account on the confirmation page

If you sign up using Google or another social login, the password step is skipped and you can log in using your social account directly.

Account Types

When registering you'll be asked to choose which type of account best describes you. This affects how your profile is presented to athletes searching the platform.

Coach: For individual sports coaches who offer one-to-one or group training sessions. Your profile will highlight your coaching credentials, the sports you cover, and the athlete groups you work with.
Service Provider: For sports professionals offering complementary services, such as performance analysts, physiotherapists, sports psychologists, or nutritionists. Service providers can also create and sell services and events on the platform. See the Service Provider Help Centre for dedicated guidance.
Explorer: For athletes, parents, guardians, and anyone looking to find and connect with coaches or service providers. Explorer accounts are free and don't require a subscription.

You can only select one account type during registration. If you believe you've selected the wrong type, you can change your plan from the Plans & Billing page once signed in.

Email Verification

After registering, Pitch Gurus sends a verification email to the address you provided. We recommend verifying your email to keep your account secure. Click the Verify Email Address button in the email to confirm. The link is valid for 60 minutes. If it expires, you can request a fresh one.

If you don't receive the email within a few minutes:

Check your spam or junk mail folder, as automated emails sometimes land there
Make sure you entered your email address correctly during registration
Use the Resend verification email option to get a new one
Add noreply@pitchgurus.com to your contacts to prevent future emails being filtered

Social Login

You can also sign up or log in using your Google account. Click the relevant social login button on the registration or login page to connect your account. This saves you from needing to remember a separate password.

Signing In

You can sign in at any time using the Log In link in the top navigation. Enter the email address and password you registered with, or use your social login. If you forget your password, use the Forgot password? link on the login page to reset it via email.
