Coaching for a Club

This one is for the coach rather than the organisation. If a club, academy, school or university has invited you to a seat, here's what that actually means.

Somebody else is paying for your plan

Your Service Provider plan is funded by the organisation that employs you. There is nothing for you to pay and no card to add. Your coaching profile stays live and listed in search for as long as you coach for them.

You will see this stated on your billing page, naming the organisation, so you are never guessing who is paying for what.

You cannot set up a business of your own on their plan

The plan belongs to the organisation, not to you, so you cannot use it to run your own business alongside. That is the one restriction, and it is the reason your account looks different from a provider who pays for themselves.

If you want to sell under your own name as well, take out your own plan. You can then run both: your own business on your subscription, the club's work on theirs, switching between them whenever you like. The two are completely separate, and cancelling one does not affect the other.

Work your club gives you

Your club can allocate service bookings to you and name you on their events. Anything they hand you appears in your own calendar and bookings alongside your own work.

The money on that work settles to the organisation, not to you. They are the merchant on their own listings, and you are paid by them however you have agreed, which is a matter between you and nothing Pitch Gurus is part of.

Being listed is not the same as being employed

You may appear on a club's public coaches page without holding a seat with them. That is a listing: it shows you coach there and lends your credentials to their page, and it costs nobody anything.

A seat is the arrangement where they pay for your plan and can hand you work. If you're not sure which you have, check your billing page: it names the organisation funding you if one is.

If you leave

Your access to their screens ends at once, and any work they had given you goes back to them so they can find cover.

Your own tools carry on for 14 days, and we will email you at 7 days and at 1 day before that ends. After that, if nobody else is funding you and you have no plan of your own, your account moves back down and your own services and events are deactivated so nothing new sells.

Nothing is deleted. Your profile, your content, your reviews and your booking history are all still there, and taking out your own plan puts you back where you were. Work you had already sold is unaffected throughout, and you are expected to deliver it.
