Setting Up Your Organisation

Your organisation needs a page before anybody can find it, be invited to it, or be employed by it. There are two ways to get one, depending on whether Pitch Gurus already lists your club.

If your organisation is not on Pitch Gurus yet

Go to Your organisation > Details and fill in your business name, logo, summary and the categories you work in. Saving creates the page.

The name is checked as you type. If it matches an organisation already on the platform, you will be offered the claim route below instead, which is almost always what you want: claiming inherits the page's existing history rather than creating a second one that competes with it.

If your organisation is already listed

Clubs, venues and universities are often already on Pitch Gurus before anyone from them signs up, because coaches list them as places they have worked.

  1. Find the page through the organisations directory or by searching
  2. Click Claim this organisation
  3. Tell us who you are and what your connection to the organisation is

You don't need an account first. The claim page works for visitors, and you can create your account as part of the same flow.

A member of the Pitch Gurus team reviews every claim by hand. We are checking that the person claiming genuinely represents the organisation, which usually takes a working day or two. You will see a pending banner on Your organisation > Details while we look at it, and an email when it is decided.

Once the page is yours

You are the owner. You are always an Admin of your own organisation, you cannot be removed from it, and you do not take up one of your own seats.

From there:

  • Details, Location, Sports build out the public page
  • Members is where colleagues get their own access, once you are on the Organisation Plan
  • Coaches is the public roster of who coaches for you

See Members & Roles for who can do what, and Your Two Public Pages for how the organisation's page relates to your own.
