Inviting Coaches to a Seat
Sending the invitation
- Go to {Your organisation} Profile > Members
- Click Invite coaches
- Add their email addresses, one per coach
- Give them a role title and a start date, which is what shows on their profile
- Send
Before you send, the dialog tells you what accepting would do to your bill: if this coach accepts, your subscription becomes this much. Your costs never move without you having seen the figure first.
If you would rather share one link than type addresses, see Invite Links. Be aware that a seat link spends money on every redemption, so cap it.
When you are charged
On acceptance, not on sending. An invitation that is declined, withdrawn or left to expire costs you nothing at all.
Your seat count then follows your roster: it goes up when somebody accepts and down the moment you remove them.
Coaches who already pay for their own plan
Invite them anyway, and expect to be charged. You are not buying them a second copy of a plan they already have: you're buying the employment relationship, which is what makes their work yours to allocate and your organisation the merchant on it.
They keep their own plan completely separately. Cancelling one does not touch the other, and they can run their own business and your work side by side, switching between the two.
What the coach gets
- The Service Provider tools, paid for by you, with no card of their own to add
- Their coaching profile stays live and listed in search while they coach for you
- Whatever work you allocate to them, in their own calendar and bookings
A coach whose only plan is your seat cannot set up a business of their own on it, because the plan is yours rather than theirs. If they want to sell under their own name as well, they take out their own plan and run both. They are told this plainly on their billing page, so nobody concludes their account is broken.
If you hold a licence
A licence covers an agreed number of coaches. You'll be told how many seats you've used and how many are left, and you will be stopped from inviting past the ceiling rather than quietly billed for the extra. If you need more, talk to us.
